The Writer in Residence program at the North Vancouver Delbrook Recreation and Culture has been an excellent experience. Facilitating workshops on flash fiction with co-pilot Dhana Musil has been a joy–we know how to have fun and share the joy of small fiction writing.  We also ran the first ever North Shore Story Slam, a huge success. Both of these activities have fostered a new level of community in North Van.
