The Writer in Residence program at the North Vancouver Delbrook Recreation and Culture has been an excellent experience; extended to Dec 2024.  Facilitating workshops on flash fiction with co-pilot Dhana Musil has been a thrill–we know how to have fun and share the joy of small fiction writing.  We’ve created North Shore Story Slams ( the next will be this coming Oct 5th) and in house  story salons,  fostering a new level of community here on the North Shore.

“Sand Penis,” originally published in subTerrain magazine, will be included in the Best Canadian Stories 2026 collection! It’s an honour to be amongst some of my Can Lit favourites.

“Pink Baby” will soon be out in Cosmic Horror Monthly, details to come.  

“It Is Certain” is in the November ghost story issue of Conjunctions magazine: Revenants. Co-edited by Joyce Carol Oates and Bradford Morrow, the issue features literary greats Margaret Atwood, Joyce Carol Oates, Carmen Maria Machado, and Stephen Graham Jones.

A Murmuration,” won the San Miguel Writers Competition; a free ride to the conference in San Miguel Allende, Mexico, this past February.
