Writing Workshop for Moms!

A few years back, I had the opportunity to join a class called “The Momoir Project.” I wanted to record what the little moments of motherhood felt like, before I forgot them. I didn’t realize that a simple class could change the way I viewed the world, kick start my writing again, and make me a few lifelong friends in the process.  I feel very lucky to have taken the class, and even luckier now that Cori Howard, the brainchild behind the whole thing, has asked me to teach it.

I’m going to teach in Sept, twice monthly for six sessions. Contact me if you would like to join us. It’s basically like a deep sea netting of your soul; what comes up is not always what you expect.

Only without the environmental ramifications, of course.

It’s not free, but it’s cheaper than therapy, and the best things in life aren’t free.

(Yeah, that Craigslist headboard was free. It is a rickety piece of crap.)

Write it down, have a good laugh and a good cry, and record those memories. I took the class as a gift to myself, and it paid off in more ways than I could have known. (The link to your right in Check This Out! will tell you more)

See you in Sept, and stay tuned for more of the Obtuse Angle!
